Overview

This site reminds me of the Millionaire Matchmaker on Bravo Television. It's a lot of rather geeky men who can't dress and older men who probably can't dress without a nursing assistant. The women are too good to be true in terms of looks but if there is one place you WILL find their photos to be real, it's on a site for rich guys. So no longer are the poor being scammed by ladies on the other sites. At least here they are not hiding identities - so blatant. And what about the rich mamas out there? Shouldn't they have a site or a place on the site, too?

Costs

There is a free on-week trial for $9.95 for the Gold Membership. Then after that, the cost is $34.95 per month or $59.95 for a three-month membership. The Silver Membership does not offer the one-week trial but one month of membership is $24.95 or $49.95 for a three-month membership.

Features

There is a verification of income for the gents and the ladies have photo verification in place; if one does not find a partner in three-months, the site offers free membership until a coupling happens; men must make AT LEAST $100K a year to join; email and chatting capabilities for paid memberships.

Search Options

Income level is one search and broken down from 100K - 500K, 500K - 2M, and 2M and higher. Other searches are age, location, interests, photos, gender, relationship type, and who has last viewed you. There is NO way to search for a gay or bisexual partner on this site.

Summary

This site reminds me of The Millionaire Matchmaker on Bravo except Patty Sanger permits women and gay/lesbians in to her club. Right away that feature turned me off - JUST for straight coupling. I thought that was very odd. What if Oprah wanted to join, she'd be turned away? What if Liberace were alive and wanted to join? Same thing. Point is, wealth is not just for the fellas.

That being said, the site's criteria is really based on a the typical notion that rich men CAN get hot women. It's true, unfortunately (Donald Trump, anyone?) and those who join this site is no better than the stereo-type. Therefore, of course there would be no female wealth or gay wealth here. Perhaps those groups are too intelligent and see the writing on the wall at a site like this.

The funny part for me was that the profiles of women were looking too good to be true but most were legit. SO all of those fraudulent dating sites with hot women? REAL here. Of course they are, the money is where it's at wealthymen.com.

My photos were verified and I received a few emails. The men were way out of my age range, however. Way. And I joined as a test to see what would happen. Research! I felt a little cheap about it, personally because I would never date a man for his money. The women here didn't seem to care, however, despite how unattractive the man was.

It's really a lot of hot women here who are glorified hookers and men willing to pay them full time.

If someone is okay with that? Great. This is the site to join. If not? It might be best to meet a partner at a charity event around town.
