OkC prides itself in using advanced algorithms and user data to create the highest quality matching system on any dating website. With thousands of quizzes and questions, all generated by users, OkC is able to leverage this data and match you with a partner with stunning precision.

OkCupid also takes a much more liberal viewpoint in regards to what you can do with your profile. OkC is more about giving you all the tools they can and letting you use them as you see fit. For example, OkC freely allows users to upload pictures that don't have the user in them. You could upload your favorite book or a picture of your dog and OkC would not flag your image or penalize you (nudity is frowned upon, however). OkC feels it's not their job to tell you what you can and can't do with your profile. It has a very user-driven feel to it all.

Features

OkCupid offers many unique features and quizzes you wouldn't normally expect to find on a free dating site. When it comes to quizzes it is hard to find a website that offers a more in-depth and exhaustive set of quizzes than OkC. Each quiz is created by a member of the website and then other users are allowed to answer these questions. This same pattern is also used for questions. Members are able to answer a wide range of questions prepared by fellow OkC members and based off these answers are able to increase their match percentages with somebody who answers these same questions in a similar fashion.

Messaging/Emailing in OkCupid is a huge strong point.

Search Options

The search options in OkCupid are top notch. Not only are you able to refine your search with many options such as location, ethnicity, height, interests, profession, etc, you are also able to sort the way your results are displayed. Some of these sorting options might be by who's new, highest match %, online now, online in the past week and on and on. OkCupid offers one of the highest quality search features out of any online dating site. And to top it all off OkC has a very high quality keyword search feature. When you search for specific keywords the OkC search feature will go through ALL of the text and answers on the profiles and look for a match. It is hard to go wrong performing a search on OkC.
