The Good
Great online features for members • Ratio of men to women is good • Members not paying for a an expensive membership are still able to email and chat with users - most sites do not permit thatThe Bad
For such a marquee site? • There are so many fake profiles on friendfinder.com • Paying in to a gold membership is a waste of money as it does not much more than a less expensive silver oneOverview
There are three membership tiers on friendfinder.com - free, silver and gold. Free membership does not do too much but the silver and gold are easily interchangeable and there is a lot of things a silver member could do that gold members are entitled to (such as communicating by email and chatting.) Personally, a silver membership is just fine. A gold membership seems a waste of money.
Additionally? There needs to be better filtering of spammers and scammers here. It's not the worst site out there but it needs to be improved in order to remain one of the top dating online sites.
Costs
A silver membership is $22.94 for one-month; three-months is $14.98 per month in bulk; and six-months is $8.33 per month. A gold membership is much more at $34.4 per month; three-months is $14.98; and six-months is $7.77.
It seems that either plan offers at least a 40% discount when buying in bulk (but I am no mathematician).
Features

Free members are able to browse and post a profile but browsing is limited - not able to see full photos. A silver member is able to see all photos, however and email and chat capabilities are offered. The gold memberships is the same as the silver in terms of services but there is more of a priority listing offered for one's profile.
Search Options
Age, location, relationship type, relationship status, gender, looking for, languages (many), and photo or key words from a profile.
Summary

Friendfinder.com was not bad but I was not loving it either. I saw a lot of fake members there because I recognized them from other sites with different aliases. Men should be wary, of course, most are fake ladies who will want what is in your wallet. I also felt the site needed some major updating as there was nothing too special about it. It was standard. NOT substandard but just okay'ish.
For the money it is worth a look. The bulk rate is reasonable. Other than that? There is better sites out there with more legit members.
Customer service was decent. Just decent.
In short, friendfinder.com is like a shirt that just hangs and does nothing. It's not itchy or unflattering but it is not particularly a standout.
