eHarmony Black Dating Review

Overview

This site is a branch of eharmony.com and while I think it's terrific to meet those who are most compatible, I am not a fan of the online profile application. After forty-five minutes of questions, I had to stop and rub my eyes. Additionally, if one is gay or a lesbian who happens to not be a Christian? Forget it. The pickins' are only for straight people and it's slim for those who are Jewish or Muslim or any other religion that is not Christian.

Costs

A membership for one-month is $59.95; a three-month plan is $39.95; a six-month plan is $179.70; and a one-year plan is $239.40.

Features

The personality profiling is its biggest feature and those who take the extensive profile, will be matched with others who are seemingly compatible. There is no way to browse other members because the site does this for its members.

Search Options

There is no search feature because the site does the matchmaking for its members.

Summary

I am not a fan of eharmony.com and I am not a fan of the eharmony.com/black-dating for those of color. I find it very narrow-minded and unrealistic in this day in age. Most people are not cookie cutters of the ideal partner nor are we all straight or of faith. This is a large world we live in and somehow the site does not seem to care about anyone outside of its parameters.

Also, the site is a fortune to join. The moment I did join, however, I was offered discounts for the next months ahead. Therefore, I have reason to believe that the site is cheaper for those who are entered in the site's system. It's great business practice to offer the discounts.

However, it's not enough to entice many online daters who think outside of the box a bit.
